Sacred Laser

At Sacred Laser we use the C6 Medlite and Picosure lasers from Cynosure.

We have searched far and wide and through on the ground research and experience we have found the best combination of machines on the planet. We use the proven C6 for its wavelengths of 1064/532 and the Picosure for its dedicated 755 wavelength, the only pico second laser on the market to have this. The chart below shows you how vital a full spectrum of wavelengths are to effective tattoo removal and lightening.

Efficacy of Medlite C6 and Picosure Wavelengths

Efficacy of Medlite C6 and Picosure Wavelengths

These lasers are designed to produce one or more specific wavelengths of light in short bursts. Tattoo ink is removed the specific wavelength of light that passes into the skin, and is absorbed by the ink. The rapid absorption of light energy causes the tattoo ink to break into tiny particles that can then be removed by the body’s natural filtering and immune systems. The tattoo fades gradually over a series of treatments.

tattoo is targeted

The tattoo is targeted by specific wavelengths of light which are absorbed by the ink

tattoo ink is broken down

The tattoo ink is broken down into smaller particles which can be naturally filtered by the body

These particles are gradually removed

These particles are gradually removed by the body and the tattoo begins to fade

On average, professional tattoos require 6-12 treatments for full removal or 2-4 treatments to lighten for effective coverups. All treatments are spaced a minimum 6 weeks apart. The number of treatments depends on a number of variables (for example: body placement, type of ink, colour etc). Black is the easiest to shift but at Sacred Laser we can effectively target the full spectrum. We use the gold standard in medical lasers in 3 wave lengths that allow us to target all colours.
